Interpreting Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) in Media

It has often been promoted as an art and science of effective communication and defined as 'the study of the structure of subjective experience'.

  1. Alki here- great post. This stuff works because it happens so fast the conscious mind cannot keep up, and the TV doesn't stop and wait for you to think about everything you see and hear. The conscious is too focused on keeping up with what is presented rather than thinking about what is presented. That is how it works, bypassing the conscious mind with information overload.
